The zen hospice project organizes programs dedicated to the care of people approaching death and to increasing our understanding of our own impermanence. We run a small hospice in a restored victorian house near the san francisco zen center. We train the volunteers who work there and also those who service the hospice at a major san francisco hospital. We run many educational outreach and training programs in the community
including a continuing program of distinguished speakers.
